On Wednesday, October 28, the American Autism Association hosted a workshop titled “Helping Children with Change” as part of our Virtual Parenting Workshop Series. This workshop focused on ways to help you and your child cope with and conquer change in an emotionally sensitive manner. This was in collaboration with Acuity Behavior Solutions. Lindsay Nguyen, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the founder, owner and Executive Director of Acuity Behavior Solutions, provided useful resources for navigating change for all children and for those on the spectrum.

If you missed this event, but are interested in the webinar, you can see the recording below and a copy of the presentation at this link.

Acuity Behavior Solutions is committed to the enrichment of lives – including the children we work with and the parents who entrust us with their loved ones. Our goal is to provide individualized ABA services to promote permanent change and growth. Our mission is to provide quality, research-based interventions to our clients and their families. We do this by providing individualized programs for each child, informational and hands on caregiver training, and a variety of resources for the families we serve.

Each program is a collaborative effort between the client, client’s family, and Acuity Behavior Solutions. Throughout the treatment, we will be working closely with parents, caregivers, and the child. We are committed to working collaboratively with our families and treatment teams. We encourage open discussion about any concerns or questions.
