Community Spotlight: Danielle Bieber
Danielle Bieber joins the American Autism Association this fall as a Social Media and Marketing Intern. In this Q&A, Bieber shares why she joined our wonderful team and what she hopes to take away from this experience with us.

School & Major: North Park University, Digital Marketing
What are your plans after college?
After completing my degree, I aim to secure a position at a prominent digital media marketing firm and advance within the company.
What would be your dream job?
My dream job would be a Detective (I am a little obsessed with true crime shows), my unrealistic and completely unattainable career goal since I was a little girl. If I think practically and related to this field, it would be Social and Digital Media Strategist.
Why did you want to intern at the American Autism Association?
I'm thrilled to be part of a company that values inclusivity and excited to create communication strategies to inspire those who need to hear this message. This is only the beginning of my journey toward success in digital marketing, and I'm eager to make a difference.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, friends, and dog, Milo. Watching old films is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. I also immensely enjoy reading books, especially mystery novels.
What’s been your favorite class in college, and why?
I love my Social and Digital Media Marketing class as it equips me with all the tools I require to excel in my chosen profession.
What are you most looking forward to after graduation?
I am excited to find a job I am passionate about and make a difference in the world however I can. Since school was not always enjoyable, I aim to get a job in an environment that will allow me to love my work and all that comes with it.
How do you like your coffee (or tea)?
I don't enjoy coffee much, but find herbal tea with vanilla or lemon flavors more relaxing and rejuvenating.
Where is your dream vacation?
My ultimate dream vacation destination is the Bahamas. I appreciate this destination’s stunning beaches, clear waters, and breathtaking scenery. I can picture myself lounging on the soft sand, soaking up the sun's warmth and relishing in the peaceful sound of waves lapping at the shore.
