QUEENS, NEW YORK

The American Autism Association hosts a soccer program to help children improve their social skills and engage in a fun, friendly physical activity. Soccer has proven to be a great therapeutic recreational program for individuals on the autism spectrum. The program is a group program, however, each child’s individual needs are catered to with individualized volunteers. Our soccer clinics would not be made possible without the support from Embrace the Grind Goalkeeping and our coach, Stephen Riguard. The clinic take place every few weeks at St. John’s University at Belson Stadium, weather permitted. To participate in this program, stay up to date with any upcoming events to see when the next #AutismGoals: Special Needs Soccer Clinic will take place.
