John Cronin is known for his passion for funky socks. Cronin has Down Syndrome and his dream after graduating high school was to open up his own sock company. Cronin worked to make that dream a reality and successfully opened John’s Crazy Socks.

Launching in 2016, Cronin and his father, Mark Cronin, created a website and brand identity for John’s Crazy Socks. They were shocked with the overwhelming response and orders received, eventually opening a warehouse to organize the mass amounts of deliveries.

Cronin’s father shared with Today that”John is a role model, we want to show what’s possible.” They believe that this company will remain a success and hope that its success inspires many other people with disabilities to go out and fulfill their dreams.

At the warehouse they sought to hire other individuals with special needs, offering new opportunities to their community. John’s Crazy Socks donates five percent of profits to the Special Olympics.
