Ways to Give

Working Together to Improve the State of Autism 2012 and Beyond

You want to make a difference in the efforts to defeat autism now. And you can. It’s largely thanks to the generosity of concerned people like you that we are able to connect families with the quality autism programs they deserve.

By donating time or money, or participating in planned giving, you give the American Autism Association the people power it takes to support children with autism. Each contribution we receive makes a powerful difference in the effort.

Contributing Your Valuable Time to Our Autism Programs

For some people, the most meaningful gift they can give is one of their time. Volunteers provide vital support to our efforts, in whatever way best suits their skills and interests.

Interested in hands-on work with children with autism? We can find a way for you to participate, perhaps by leading activities for autistic children, or providing support at community events. If you prefer behind-the-scenes work, our office administrators are always happy to have extra help with research, filing, or clerical tasks.

Ready to talk volunteer opportunities? Please e-mail or call our office today. We’ll be thrilled to hear from you.

Donating Much Needed Autism Funding to the Cause

It’s impossible to overstate the profound impact that a donation of your hard-earned money has in the effort to send our children to quality schools for autism, to support their development with arts, athletics, and job skills training, and to provide their families with the peace of mind that comes from knowing their children are getting the support they need.

Each and every dollar you contribute gives us further ability to improve lives in our community. Please click here to make a monetary donation today. Your generosity will make a world of difference.

Planned Giving for Long-Term Support of Our Autism Initiatives

The American Autism Association is proud to offer a range of planned giving options so that you can support the children with autism you care about while enjoying tax advantages at the same time.

From bequests, charitable trusts, and appreciated assets, to retirement plan and life insurance donations, our planned giving officer is well versed in the primary vehicles associated with large-scale charitable giving.

Please contact our planned giving officer, Larry Sharon, today for more information on how you can use planned giving to make a lasting contribution to our big-picture autism NY efforts.

And because we know how important it is to trust your contribution is being put to the best use possible, we are dedicated to transparency in bookkeeping and invite you to review our fiscal information at your convenience.

Your donation—whether in the form of time, a one-time gift, or planned giving—will go a long way in supporting our efforts to improve the lives of children with autism.

The American Autism Association is grateful for your interest in donating to our autism NY work. Please contact our office today to discuss any of these important ways to give.
